More on Yosemite

Notice the rock and the tree. Grandma won't mind :)

This rock was left here during the melting of the glacier and I am sure it figured it would be there forever, big tough and in charge.

This small seedling started to wake up as it got warmer and decided it was time to grow.

Can you imagine the shock it must have had when it became aware of this giant rock blocking its way?  Did it give up?

Here we see evidence of nature finding a way, similar to the trees roots in the last posting growing between the rock layers.

This seed did not give up just because a rock that seemed insurmountable was in its way, it did what it could and grew around the rock, adapting to its environment.

Now the rock may be trapped, at least for a time.

Time will free the rock again perhaps, if no other seed rises to the task of adapting to its environment. It could be trapped as long as there are tree's but time will tell.

Life will throw obstacles, detours, and rocks at you. Be ready and be agile!!
