I remember the stages of my children lives, some because I was drug through them and some I did not realize until after they had occurred.
Change is a natural event, it never stops and its course is erratic.
You can accept change.
You can understand change.
You can dread change.
You can anticipate change.
You cannot avoid it.
You do not have to like it but to fight it has very little use.
Change is like a glacier. It is mostly slow and most people do not realize the movement it makes. They will suddenly notice an outcropping of rock that was not in the ice is suddenly engulfed. Once in a while a piece breaks off and the change is sudden.
Would be able to stand the brilliance and wonder if we really saw all that was changing around us? Could we take it in and process this information? Perhaps our internal filters protect us from information overload until we have the time to process the data.
